Many people grow up dreaming of making a living playing music. Andrew Neukirch realized that dream starting in college, playing drums and making a good living playing with a band that began to enjoy moderate success.
But at a certain point, when it became clear that the success was going to stay moderate and his vision of musical stardom likely wasn’t going to materialize, his other dream moved to the forefront—to put his optometry degree to use, to buy a practice, and to help other people’s vision become clear through his work.
