Putting the eye in team

Jennifer Stewart grew up loving two things. Animals and sports. As a girl she thought she would make a living as a veterinarian, translating her affinity for animals into her vocation and always having sports as a passionate avocation.

But life has a way of turning the best laid plans upside down. As the years passed, Jennifer realized that the vet lifestyle wasn’t for her. Instead, after she shadowed an optometrist family friend, her dream of becoming an eye doctor and owning a practice began to take shape. And the sports that she excelled at in college and that she always thought would be a pastime took a central role in her career.
